Dr Beat Richner – Runs a hospital for children, very controversial as he believes in first world medicine for everyone. Sued WHO for genocide of Cambodian children. Gives a free concert every Saturday to get donation, very interesting for those interested in health economics and third world medicine.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The good Lots of hands on in surgery, trauma and third world medicine with a lot of late manifestation of diseases (only seen in books normally), cheap
The bad Language was a big problem, knowledge of French would have been great
Further descriptions, comments or advice Bring your own scrubs and white coat, we had to use what they gave us and never had a chance to wash them. Also bring a camera as they don’t mind anyone taking photos of rare diseases or massive trauma (saw a few guys who stepped on landmines)
