Mosquito Net Project

INSIGHT is joining the fight against malaria with this project aiming to supply insecticide treated mosquito nets and mosquito repelling coils to malaria ravaged communities around the world.

Founded in 2007, the INSIGHT Net Attack Program supplies these nets to several regional districts of PNG wich have been identified as being significantly affected by malaria and whose remote location results in delayed treatment and fatal consequences. The first districts to be targeted were Maramba and Lapolama.

Since its introduction into the INSIGHT Project portfolio, over $10,000 worth of ITN’s have been sent to PNG. Dr. David Mills, the medical superintendent at Kompiam hospital was instrumental in setting up this initiative and continues to oversee its progress.
