Development Fund Grants
The INSIGHT Development Fund exists to financially assist INSIGHT members and developing communities.
Specifically it will enable: -
- Insight members to take needed and requested aid to developing communities
- Delivery of regular aid consignments to hospitals and developing communities affiliated with Insight
- Sustainable links between Insight and partner communities
- Financial support to student members who wish to attend conferences related to the goals of Insight
- Financial support to students interested in conducting research in the area of global health
The INSIGHT Development Fund (IDF) is maintained with funds from INSIGHT’s fundraising activities throughout the year, and monies donated by the public and sponsor organisations specifically for the Development Fund.
INSIGHT appreciates any support for the IDF. We would like to thank those who have kindly donated funds in the past and encourage others to donate to a worthy cause that puts students in the picture and works at a local level within developing communities.
The IDF is split into three streams:
- STREAM A: INSIGHT Aid Grants
- STREAM B: Sustainable Projects
- STREAM C: Conferences and Research
Any member of INSIGHT can apply for an IDF grant.
The due date for Insight Aid Grant applications is the 11th of September 2011.
